Nicotera Completed in the modernization of the classic high school gym of the school, promoted by the Province as part of a program of actions, some already made and others of the impending launch, for a total of 350 thousand euro.
In particular, the works that have affected the gym were very expected in order to adapt the system to use not only in schools but also by companies local sports, beginning with the volleyball team.
In recent days, the President Francesco De Nisi and Aldermen Joseph Barbuto (School Buildings) and Gianluca Callipo (SPORTS) carried out an inspection (photo) to verify the outcome of surgery, the total cost of € 100 thousand, of which a part used for the partial replacement of the fixtures of the institute.
Specifically, the work included the painting of the gym, the replacement of the belt play and a small number of unplanned maintenance. Furthermore, it was replaced the lighting and fencing dei vicini campi da tennis.
Gli amministratori provinciali hanno poi annunciato ulteriori interventi di imminente avvio. Il primo, già appaltato (importo complessivo 100mila euro), riguarda il completamento della sostituzione degli infissi e il rifacimento degli intonaci esterni; il secondo, in fase di assegnazione (150mila euro), è invece relativo al rifacimento dei bagni e degli spogliatoi, nonché alla realizzazione della scala di sicurezza e al completamento della copertura dell’edificio.
