Corporate Social Responsibility (RSI): ISO 26000

were presented in Rome on 24 November in the anticipation of what will be the ISO 26000 standard, that the guidelines for companies wishing to actually adopt a policy of social responsibility ( RSI). I was impressed with the standard proposed for two reasons:
1) does not require a certification it requires the development of a management system. Tip, however, the actual applicability and the direct involvement of employees. Compared to the traditional standard of "certification" it seems a big step forward.
2) the issue of security is central to the proceedings, well connected with environmental issues and sufficiently flexible to be adopted by smaller businesses and, more importantly, also by construction SMEs. What matters are, in fact, the results and not the bureaucracy.
A good appreciation, then, the work done so far (it nourished the presence ISO committee in Italian). For those interested can provide you with a link to the official news INAIL and the material presented at the conference and can be downloaded from the website set up by UNI. Let me know your impressions. (DV).
